Hunting for a lost belonging

Early morning wake up, ask moOn if she had found anyoene to help her for the queuing? Yep she has, but there are still some stuff that she needs help with... told her I might be free in the afternoon, if she needs help, I'll go over.

And its at IMM. Oo, Jurong East neh.

So what business had I to settle beforehand? Look for my bike in the 2nd hand shops.

Met lk and lye at Uncle's Shop, and told him of my lost bike. He said he once caught a theif who's been stealing from his van a number of times - with a group of friends. They really brought beer and snacks there, and had one person to watch in ambush every shift. Caught the guy in the end. Nice!

Then went for lunch, and went to check the Bedok Cash Converter. Not to my surprise, don't have.

Decided to go down to check Haig Road the MRT guy was telling me about yesterday.

Went round and round Joo Chiat complex at first, then explored Haig Road, asking alot of people for directions along the way...

Finally found one rather smallish compartment off the side of the road with loads of junk, and a few bikes - none of which mine. Asked the uncle (he looked rather alarmed I was looking for something that is mine amongst his stock) - he said there seems to be one near the market...

So we (me, lye, lk) went back to the market and scoured around... Ended up at the "Warehouse Sale 80% off" shop twice. The people nearby referred us to the shop at the end, which was that. But that shop seems to only sell clothes... So I went and asked the aunty inside.

I took a long time to get the msg to her that if she was buying unwanted goods from people, and it took her equally long to tell me they only bought from suppliers. -.-

Then she referred me to the shop opposite, which seemed to sell alot of bikes. Used or not, I have no idea. But it was run by a malay woman - the aunty asked me if I dared to ask them about my business? What kind of question is that... -.-

Went over and asked, and yes they did buy unwanted stuff. Did they see any Bengla trying to sell my bike to them over the past 2 days? No, the one they got was one week ago. But they promised to alert me if they had any Benglas trying to sell my bike to them.

Oh well, I've done what I can.

Went back to Kembangan to see I would strike lucky with recovering my bike or catching that Bengla - no luck. However we did suggest perhaps the next weekend we should learn from Uncle. We don't go LAN; we sit at somewhere nearby and play cards while looking for the Bengla - he might just come and steal again. Then we might nab the guy, heh heh heh... Well, why not? ;D

Then after, went back to Bedok, and msged moOn again - how's her queuing? Blur blur lor she... can one person sign 3 things la! Haha, then no need so mah fan, 3 person to queue to sign 3 things. But somehow she's dl - why? Well I would have to see her blog then.

Reached home le, she still typing her blog essay orh - wha ~ Haha...
