Blogging about yesterday

Yea, coz today isn't much to talk about.

Well after I blogged yesterday I went for the forum @ Marina Boulevard.

First of all, I went ot find my Street Directory - dun have ley... sh*t. Then look some more, only found Merine Boulevard Rd. Yikes...

So I went to www.streetdirectory.com, and finally found One Marina Boulevard NTUC Centre. -.- Must be that one liao lor...

So in the evening I went out, and planned to get my Capo before going there. I had in mid it was about $8, like jess said - when I got there (TM Yamaha), I saw even $4. BUT the $4 and $8 ones were just plastic and rope. -.- And the metal one that looked like jess' one was $22.50. I seriously doubt the rope would be tight lor... So bo bian, bought the $22.50 one. Haiz... for my guitar la...

Reach Raffles Place liao, I was lost lor. Went out the right exit - appear in a shopping centre. o.o Jia lat, I anyhow find a way out. Then kenna disoriented. By the time I found the building at last is coz of the NTUC sign on top, and I was already late. The thing starts at 6.30, I reached the bottom of the building at 6.33. Then went up, look for Rm 3 - and all I saw was 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004. Now WHICH one looked like Rm 3??! I HATE written instruction. ><

Finally the people there guided me to Rm 1003, and there was the forum. Jing ps, like everyone look at me, coz start liao. Listen to Lim Swee Say talk, then I barely sat for 5 mins the opening address over liao. Then go eat dinner outside (they provide).

Went out the time saw my classmates lor. At first only saw kit they all but later also saw sharon, parinee, and the 2 cheryls. Went along with them lor... Haha they 2 arh, dunno what to say. Say what plate small xD But the food nice la.

Then we no space to sit dow eat, so stand and eat lor.

Then halfway after eating we go and get dessert, got 2 ladies from a translation agency approach us, interested to know more about us and ask us if would be interested to work for them as freelance translators? Can consider arh... Then also left contact with them.

ALmost no time to eat my dessert.

Then went back in, started the forum again. The chairman very mlm de lor... people go slightly off topic only (open to the floor) he start interrupting liao. I diam diam untill like 2 people fa yan liao then I want to ask... to everytime kenna someone walk up first, or they go and add in points. Wah lau...

One of the 2 oldest and most famous tranlstors in Singapore, Lee and Lee, was there. He gave opening and talk about machine translation no future. Then got one young guys from China technical translator come up say he dun think so. Then right after him Lee came up again and debate against him. xD So old liao still go argumentative.

At first say end at 7.45 de, but in the end end up 8.40 lidat.

They said they going to form Singapore Translator;s Association, anyone interested can join. I thinking to join sia, seriously.

Then after that come out liao, go toilet... Wah siao, the guys toilet need to pass liek 3 doors... then I come out the time walk wrong way have to walk one big round back. ><

Went back on the same train as Cheryl (haha which one you ask?), and found out she was frm AHS, and same class as yin wen :O What a small world... She was in ED though. Haha...

Ooh, Star Wars Epi III coming out on 19th May.

Walked home from Tanah Merah. Pass by the side of Blk 83, I see all dark. I thought wha they conspiracy isit, all sleep so early? Then I walk past the back. Whole Blk 83 no light at all. Street lights also out. :O

Then I walk som more, and saw road block. Orh... they finally make the residents move out to dismantle Blk 83 le. They want to build new things on the ground there.

But at night walk very dark siah. Creepy. Haha...

Then today class the time samuel never come. At first I see Cheryl sit alone, so I pei her sit la. Since samuel haven come yet. But later I was flanked by Chryl (the other one) and the usual gals sitting in that row, and still samuel din turn up. So end up whole lesson I sitting there, so shawn sit behind alone. xD

Break today we only bought drinks ley... teacher said we went for half an hour. Got meh... then scold me again. Wth lor.

Today learn to write resume and cover letter, then need to do a small project on one day tour of Singapore, with a fresh face. Lol Cheryl keep saying use her maze idea... xD Build a maze in the middle of somewhere, throw them inside, they cannot come out nomb. xD Jia lat la...

After lesson went home lor. Give up on the House of Wax torrent I had liao la, 99,9% for so long still dun want to dl the last 480 KB. Dl la... find new download and delete that one liao.

Talked to Ryan online, very worried about the upcoming stuff. Then still got some arts camp frm 10th - 12th, so AGM now shift to 9th. Crazy la, thursday who will go... Then need to work out what songs and who will play during the Recruitment Drive. I was suggesting just a few of us la, the rest... don't even turn up for prac for AGM liao, RD? Suan le lor...

Thats about it bah...
