Hmm...

Hahah Basics of Entrepreneurship this course hao hao wan orh...

Noticed like since the start of the holidays my thinkings have changed again le. Now I'm really contemplating the possibility of venturing out into business, as an entrepreneur. Its quite exciting actually, plus the school's funding you. You pay1 unit, they supply 3 units, the govt gives another 1 unit of the total cost of setting up. Its not that kind of 5 mins fever kinda stuff; its seriously plausible.

At first I was thinking of some durian splitter tool, but considering the limits of the market, its really not worth the time. Can't go out of singapore, and customers won't come back. One is enough.

Then I thought of offering services as the product, translation services. For games perhaps? But tinking of what Mr Khaw said, one person translation services w/o backup is no good. So, nah...

Ten it goes back to the food and drinks industry. Still remains the biggest market out there is, full of possibilities still.

And I thought, if there can be Coffee Bean and Starbucks, why can't there be similiar places selling and championing tea instead? Its still a new and undeveloped market; just like Starbucks can play around with its concoction of coffee, I can do the same with tea.

Previous and current attempts at tea are Bubble Tea, and various tea houses in Singapore. Bubble Tea targetted the teen market, and did big business - but it was shortlived, because it did not aim at long term survival. It was all market skimming, no penetration. The various tea houses offer all the Chinese tea, and how it is traditionally brewed and all. But THAT is not an attractive factor for the majority of the youngsetrs. STarbucks does well selling coffee at 5 times the price of any coffee shop. Why? It has brand, it has quality and taste, it has the luxurious atmoshpere. Making the customer feel like a million.

I don't need to compete with Starbucks and Coffee Bean, I can just set up shop near them so I catch their customer flow as well. Nothing wrong.

But like Mr Toh said, if you do food, you HAVE to knnow the mechanics and science of the food first. I'll do some research on tea - this idea might just work out ;) Don't just stick to selling tea - bring out what is so special about tea, give it variety, brand it, and add variety to your stock. Starbucks sells cakes as well. What can I incorporate? Ching teng! =D

Well about today... met moOn at the canteen stairs aorund 0945. Haha... she wasn't late whor! xD Wear untill all blue blue de she... say she tired still want to sleep. But at least feeling better le... =)Haha, look abit pale, but not sickly at least... but still that sian sian face haha... Then later her fren come find her, so went off la...

Wha not fair lor moOn the break at 11, then mine at 12. Go business canteen packed like siao >.< Bie wanted me and Valentine and Ming go join her de, but we said we going Design... Then never open. Go Mensa... Never open. Go Engine... 1 never open. -.- Finally Engine 2 got open, the queue see beh long. Then dao tou lai finsih food at around 1, go back alr late le. Lucky attendance is mark after class...

Haha bie cute sia. Valentine forgot to being the VCD she wanted. Then she so jing zhang keep asking me how arh joel how how how? xD So I told her relax la... Haha. Go bittorrent? She said too slow... then I told her lor, my House of Wax dl until NOW still have finish lor... then she said ah you want never tell me, I got the vcd! Ah! xD Then she asked me if I know how to play wei qi. I know arh... then she so excited want me to teach her... coz she learning coz of the new manga she reading. Hahaha... hao arh!

Then I finish le msg moon see if she finished le? Coz I finished early mah... she went out during break then never go in again, she say wait till it finish le siginig 2nd attendance then she go in and sign. xD Zen huai dan...

Go cut hair... see the haridresser - wei!! Zen me ze yang... wearing same clothes same color as bie. xD

Hao la thats about it for today.
