Day 2

Day 2 of back to blogging. Well done myself!

Today was the Medicorp TV interview! Thought 1 hour was enough to get there - apprently not. Had to take a cab, and still reached the reception counter only on time. But in the end, there turns out to be no worries at all. People there are quite relaxed, at least over this. Cos I was told to wait, "HE is coming down soon," (what the receptionist told me), and turns out that it was 2 young ladies who came instead.

And the receptionist thought I was female. (She shouted Miss JOEL?! when the two ladies came for me)

Well actually I forgot to mention the taxi fare. From Novena to MediaCorp. At first I was looking at the meter as it turned in towards MediaCorp - 4.70. Cool, cos I've got 4.80 in shillings. Then it turned 4.80. Reaching Reception! But when it finally reached, it read 4.90. Dammit! Handed over my 10 bucks instead. Wanted to save a sec or two not having to wait for change!

Well anyway the walk in was quite long. 2 buildings, past some stairs, and the Annex Building was all the way behind. Wow... Anyway did I mention, the 2 ladies who accompanied me, one of them looks quite sweet and cute. =P Name's Melissa, I gathered, and same age as me. Just a comment! (No Kelly i'm not lecherous!)

Well they had me sit watching some LOST while I waited for my interviewer. Yea I feel quite Lost as it is in there.

Well my interviewer was Michelle, now she's coming across as a very powerful lady. Nice though. But like she describes, loud, direct. Yes I can see. Haha... Felt more like a talk to understand me than an interview. Went well, I'd say.

Went over to Specialist centre to meet Kelly and Nikky for revision. Went through the notes all right, and we were basically talking. Headed back around 5+, and along the way Kelly and I were talking about her OWNING CS Bots (well done Kelly ;P) and me telling her about DotA. Yes dear we'll go LAN together someday... someday... =D Well on the bus I got "educated" on more songs (and Kelly just found out I don't just listen to Chinese songs, which she thought was obvious - HEY!! XD), and she suddenly brought up the NYP sex scandal. Ahaha.

I tell ya, they really look like amatuerish pr0n makers.
