Ok in lieu of so MANY misisng days in my blog, you guys would want to know what I've been up to since I came back from China. I assume.
Actually, I've been tied up with alot of things.
~ First, I've been sorting out the notes on my handphone(yes I don't use notepads on the spot- I've had bad experiences with that), seperating them into Trip Report notes, and notes for blogging.
Then, right the 2nd day I came back from China, I had to arrange the raw footage we captured in China about our trip into tape.
Then, I've been trying to produce the movie Story of Room 405 (its some scandal story I also shot in China, starring Shawn, Parinee, Samuel, Sharon and Dom ^^), but with no luck, I might go down to school this Saturday to do the editing if I have the time. I could do it at home, but I burned the footage into DVD which my CD RW drive cannot read, so too bad.
Then, I've been talking to Da Fan Shu(tze wan) these few days (or in fact, last few days, whichever you want to call it), and inadvertly grew 1) wiser, 2) even more "untrustworthy" - which I shall explain later.
Then, my internship has started already, and I'm on my 3rd day, and I've got some to share about my work there.
And also there's the movie we went to (we being Me, Shawn, Da Fan Shu, Janelle) yesterday. ~
Ah, so you can see, its a whole array of things to be said, and not enough time to blog.
Ok I'll tell you what happened in China later, because its really alot of things to tell.
We can start by what our title suggests, my internship at Motorola.
Ok FIRST day of work:
Totally. I woke up, diddled abit, then when I reached the interchange: I couldn't find 854. (YA I'm like BLIND or something) So I was thinking, could I have remembered wrongly? Hmm... Since I remembered a "5" in the bus number anyway, I took the nearest alternative 25.
And count it as my lucky day, cos 25 actually followed 854's route all the way till Ang Mo Kio before it branched off. But still, in the end, I had to take a cab, and STILL be late for the first day of work by like 15 mins. Interesting.
Well I shan't describe the rest of my day in detail, but just that Motorola is in general, quite relaxed. For now maybe... My first day was spent reading news feeds.
SECOND day of work:
I diddled abit, wanted to wake up at 6.45 but woke up at 7 anyway, this time took the right bus, and was late for 30 mins. -.-
I'am such a punk, matey.
Sat through a weekly conference call in the morning, started getting assigned work in ther afternoon, looked through the news on all the websites and gathered materials (because I was in charge of their Weekly Telco News), and that was about it.
Seriously, their worker care here isn't bad at all, and hey their Cafetaria's quite good. They have this FENGSHUI thing here, changing the name of the 4th Floor to Floor 3A. Ok...
Ok now we talk about the movie (fumbugs I just kicked the network wire AGAIN- tis a piece of loose *muted*).
Watched Inside Man at Bugis Shaw- seems like a branch off of Ocean's Eleven/Twelve to me. Not bad in the story, but shaky and corny camera work at some points of the movie. One of which was the scene where the detective was supposed to be like really angry, and he was running towards the doors of the bank- he was like 'floating' towards the front of the screen, in one straight motion... thats SO corny...
And Janelle has been really bored yesterday. Started messaging me saying she's got nothing to do, and she's really bored. Then she asked what I was getting, I told her, and she started getting jelous (as usual :P)
Well anyway we met up at Bugis (next time I shall say specifically where), and though I was the earliest there, I waited at the MRT station Control, so I ended up being the latest to reach the meeting point, at the Cinema ticketing booth.
And it was MY fault again when I chose middle seats- but abit too in front, which I didn't realize at the point of purchase. Haha! Sorry gals... :)
So, apart from being 1) insulted by the MUTING of vulgarities in the show (they missed out 1' bitch'- I caught that!)(me and da fan shu were giggling at each muting anyway), 2) assaulted by some arabic music theme for the show (both me and shawn felt like dancing- he's been different ever since coming back from china) and 3) having neck pains (janelle especially, and da fan shu), we pretty much enjoyed the movie I guess. :)
Ok, gotta get back to work. More updates as and when I have the time.
