One of those days

where I suddenly was walking halfway, and dawned on a realisation.

I mean, its probably nothing to others, and happen all the time, but I just realised a change in me, which, either began, or got amplified since the China Study Trip.

Well, in fact, I find myself becoming more open-minded than I've ever been. Or at least, in a physical aspect, especially towards food and drinks.

See, my mom made this gluttinous rice wine - which consisted of cooked gluttinous rice, wine biscuits and some I dunno what, red stuff, and leaving it there for 30 days for the wine to ferment.

The idea sounds like drinking rot water.

But really, (to my mild surprise) I took the initiative to pour myself a drink from that. Well ok, it looks like the colour of ketchup, but it tastes mildly sweet in the mouth, and the aftertaste is stronger, but warming. Great drink.

And, my mom said, the residue, meaning the glog of rotted rice and stuff, is often used by people to do cooking later to be eaten. I actually don't mind trying.

Hohoho.

"
What befalls this man

That which causes, much confusion

Is undecided.

What he really desires, that which is, not strongly burning?

Is it

The white, pure frost flakes of the winter

The cheery blossoms of the summer

Or indeed, a farfetched and uncertain reality?

A choice the man cannot feel

The true answer from the depths of his true feelings

Or is it

a choice at all? Perhaps it is, akin a flower to bud

a realisation yet to dawn?

How often has he lost himself and allowed subconcious to take over

Yet sleep cometh and he dreams many dreams

None of which a materialisation

But he will not / can not move forward without a clear

Guidance.

A goal.

The road that stretches out

filled with fantasies; turns; and many paths

His heart is not yet his vision

Like a blind man

Stumbles.

Be...

Constructive, not Destructive.

Everyone can give opinions and critisize just about anything (notice how everyone suddenly becomes artists themselves when you show them artworks), but HOW MANY can actually suggest better? Or suggest anything at all? How many can actually come up with the design?

Sheesh.

Its a good thing

I've been feeling, truly, light-hearted, and in good spirits lately. Like really, happy.

Haven't felt like this in a while I guess? Lol.

" And she descended

Akin a skylark, or rather a beautiful sight

Into the plane of existence which I dwell

Puts the darkness behind me

I felt, to her, a sense of longing, a sense of euphoria

Lift me on thy wings

And fly, far away

Carried on the breeze, the rays of shifting reality

Fairy tales."

Room Escape Series

http://www.fasco-csc.com/works/crimson/crimson_e.php

Seriously, take a look at this game if you haven't already.

And play the whole series if you have the time. The Crimson Room, White Room, Blue Chamber, Viridian Room. I completed all, like Fan Shu ;P

And I won't blame you for searching for at least hints to beat the rooms. Some rooms are totally kuku.

And the Viridian Room is really apt to be played during this 7th Month, lol.

I saw a...

Youtube clip of a Crocodile today.

Not just a normal Crocodile clip - it started with a bunch of people watching 2 guys splicing the dead crocodile's belly open.

Pretty ok, maybe they wanna eat Crocodile.

Then suddenly, they reached in, and took out a SEVERED HUMAN HAND.

Oh man.

Then they took out legs, and 1 more arm. And displayed them next to the dead crocodile. The onlookers were wowing and all.

At the end of the clip, they showed the picture of a young boy who has just passed away. As in, those photos you see people carry around during funerals.

The boy must have been eaten by the crocodile. Poor thing...

That, is me

I can feel a blend of different, sometimes contrasting emotions at times.

Maybe its the result of my being a person who tends to overthink on matters - or maybe, it is the cause of my overthinking.

Nevertheless, I can then feel 2 emotions at one given time, caused by multiple matters weighing on my mind.

Like right now, I'm feeling 1) elated and 2) hesitation 3) confusion.

Interesting?

As always, I don't like to come directly to the point, and as such, I will provide metaphorical scenarios.

Elated, that it seems, there is, a new light in my life at this moment, one that just appeared, a totally new light, and I find myself, invariably drawn towards this light like a moth to a light source in the dark.

Hesitation. Held back by past ties. Am I forsaking one for another? Will others see it as a lack of devotion to the cause?

Confusion. Has the past really become the past? Or is it still clinging on, not in a malicious way, but rather, like a flower bud in winter, waiting for summer to come, and it can bloom to a perfect blossom, if I permit myself to wait it out?

Shortsightedness?

Waiting for long term yields?

Or is it

Grabbing an opportunity?

Knowing when to give up?

mOon asked me to update

Haha...

Was talking to moon on MSN just now halfway, and some guy from the Town Council dropped by.

Talk about b*stard neighbours.

We've had plants in the balcony for like 20 over years till now, and never had any problems with the downstairs neighbours, until this new one moved in.

Apparently my mom had been watering plants as asual, and they, choosing to convert their goddam balcony into part of their living room (this is a 5 Room apartment from the 80s, so that living room is still quite big), were mopping their oh-so-big windows, and the excessive water ran down.

I don't know what exactly happened, but at first they were HOLLERING saying the water dripped on their windows, and now they are telling the Town Council we THREW WATER out of the window and it SPLASHED onto their windows AND head.

Madness I tell you. So I was telling that Town Council guy, there's obviously something mental about those neighbours, I mean, you know, 20 years every other neighbour hadn't had a problem, but only now they do?!

And that guy said he just wants to stick to the issue of excess water running down.

Avoidance of complication. Good strategy.

(Anyway that Town Council guy has itchy hands - he was fondling with the pitcher plants we have outside when we looked through the door peephole, before we opened the door.)

Wonky neighbours. Oh well.
