Watched Stay Alive today. Not a bad show, but i just find, American horror movies and Asian horror movies - American ones tying to incorporate Asian horror elements (eg Sadako) in, just doesn't work out too well. Scare factor wasn't high. It tried to incorporate some Jumanji (a kind of repetitive sound that suggested horror is round the corner, Jumanji was the drums, this was the controller vibration), threw in Sadakos, Ice Queen (yea the countess was just Ice Queen, in red), a same old storyline (the Countess wanted youth, yadda yadda), and there you have Stay Alive. Bleh.

But lol some parts were funny. Ok 1 part was saddistically funny. Near the start of the movie, the guy burst in on his 2 friends having some private time in the room, and the guy was, by some unexplained reason, a PIG faced mask. Who in heavens has THAT kind of fantasy?? Lol.

Went down to Bishan to take a walk and have dinner after the movie. KFC had this new Cheezito Pockett (an upgraded version of Banditto, but its CHEESE sauce, not sweet chilli). Cheap, yea. But like what john said, it tasted like diluted cheese (ie Cheese sauce + too much water), and overall, it failed. Totally.

So please kids, do not try this anywhere.

A Friday

LOl just read esther's blog.

Part of it

Called Joel for direction to mediabiz studio and he called me old woman...first he said my bag like aunty then now called me old woman...BLEH...go buy one bag for me lol...u think i made of $$ arh??hhahahaha.

Lol! Joking la! Lol... say until like I very bad lidat. Bleh!

Called up Kenny to ask for daughter if she can go into the Studios to take photos... he never pick up. Then he messaged me, You called? I said ya, and told him what I needed on sms. Till now haven't reply. -.- Kenny...

When daughter called me I was teaching lk guitar. Surprise, he still remember the whole C family chords! He's got a talent for retention of learned stuff I tell ya. Esther asked me where I was? How come she hears strumming? (I originally heard it as THUMPING and I was like, what?) Lol. Taught lk Lemon Tree. The front part of it anyway. Now now, don't get jealous daughter, I'll teach you next time! XD

Saw my tagboard. Lol I seriously didn't know I posted that entry 5 times! That day blogger was lagging... I uploading it kept showing me 0%~ Not my fault!

Tmrw prob watching Stay Alive. Movie buff? Nah.

Woot. Got a new LCD Flat Panel Monitor. No more strenous eyes.

Brought violin to prac today - For nothing lol! Next time I just bring on Monday la. Been wearing loose jeans the whole day. Brian said, try wearing a kilt. Sarong la. Lol. Good ventilation.

Lol daughter said she's in a bad mood today, but I didn't actually notice. Don't worry about it, really ^^

Li min "forced" me to play Lemon Tree with her until we got it all smooth and right. Ah! Lol. Hey but its a fun song. And daniel. He saw us playing Lemon Tree in the room . He stayed around and listened for a bit, shook his head, and said "Teenagers today ah... (walked away and back) So cute." Then he walked out. Lol!

Esther said she was nervous about her presentation. Got faith in you, all right? You can do it! ^^

Hmm sounds like my dad's gunna buy a car again. (ya again, bought, sold, bought, sold), and my mom encouraged me to go learn driving. Moreover, like my friends all said, the later you learn, the more expensive its gona be. Finding someone to learn with lei... daughter? Lol.

Btw, anyone can think of any 1)fun 2)interesting places in TP you like?

Went to teach Xue Hua and her bro guitar basics today. Hey I didn't get lost! Probably because its lighted. Lol... Snow princess seriously took her time sia... her bro and I waited downstairs for so long - lol!

Wha she learn very fast orh. But learn halfway, started to rain. -.- Lukily the sky lifted after a while. Lol teach them for like, 2 hours... Then wen to eat at S11.

The seafood noodles I ordered was.. pathetic. No wonder no business there.

Hmm watched Haunted APartments today. Lol recently alot of ghost movies all is about the same idea huhs... Not a bad show la.

Funny day

Lol my dad was so funny today. He called me:

"Hey your new monitor, you want a Silver or a Black one?"

"Um, Black?"

"Huh, but I chose a Silver - that ok?"

"Um, sure, ya its ok." Lol.

And daniel. He saw me and esther in the guitar room, and he called us "The Violin Boy! And... Guitar Girl!" Lol! And esther said he looks like he's always black faced and frowning... then just now when she ask him something, he was also giving a frown... then suddenly he turned around and give a big smile, then went back to frowning. Lol!

And I finally will have something to do during the hols - Lots of tabbing to do for daughter =P

AG BBQ

Woo! Success. Not a roaring lot of people turned up, but still! Fun. Dam fun. =D

Met Limin at around 2 to collect the satay and otah. Then we were planning to drop off at my place to pick up Daniel's shirt (we printed one more AG shirt for him), and get the sushi (of which I was supposed to bring both, and I forgot to -.-). But then suddenly naz called, said her parents were 10 mins from the school, and someone gotta go there collect the food. So after consideration, we went to collect the food lo. And we had to wait for Pinwen to come - but yan cheng turned up first, so we went to my place a little earlier.

She wanted to see my dog - and the dog kept hugging her leg XD And after picking up the stuff, we cabbed back to school - and that taxi uncle? Eccentric. Loud. Lol! We boarded the cab, and said we were heading for TP. He said where, we said BBQ area. So he said he'll make a call to his friend and see if he can drive us in. And so he did, and it turned out that his friend was the East Gate security guad (he later told us the guard was a taxi driver, got too lazy, and went to be security guard). Once he linked up, he spoke one whole string of hokkien which meant "I have passengers who want to go to the BBQ area, can we go trough the East Gate or what?" and his friend replied with "Simi?" And he was so cross, he said "Dam you I talk for so long you ask me simi" LOL... And the rest of their conversation was pretty much about clarifying the issue of the East Gate security, with the taxi uncle finally saying "Ok shut up. Listen. Can they take the East Gate, or Center Gate?" Lol... Funny la the uncle.

The sky threatened to rain, but luckily didn't go further than a drizzle. Lol the fire in the bbq pits were so sad... Until more charcoal came, and daniel arrived. And the otahs! You can cook them till the leaves go black but the inside is still raw. Grr.

Sherman and Bryan and I were like all so crappy. Lol...

The real fun only actually began when the games started. Before that it was just sitting around talking. Well, there was double wacko (special thanks to Zhiwei that I didn't get to be wacker once) - only me and Esther had a clean record of not being the wacker once at all. Derrick got the forfeit - I suggested pole dance, and they all agreed - then Sherman sabotaged me to be the pole. Oh man. Derrick didn't know how to pole dance, and it ended up with SHerman wanting to demonstrate - I got himt o be the pole, and I demonstrate. Lol felt so silly after doing that.

Then we had pinwen's C&C game. Our base was at Koi Pond, and we left Derrick there to guard, with almost all the cards. Then me, Sherman, naz, Jacky all went to find - Our clue was "A happening place". The funniest thing was, we were at Sports Complex, and after planning, I was saying, Lets Go, I turned around, and went right smack in a pillar. -.- Anyway we tried Design, Library, Sports Complex. And we were like really into the game, prowling around... And then we saw them at the Drinks dispensing machine there. We decided to send naz and Jacky (cos they kept wanting to eat XD) to go run into the open, me and sherman try to find a way around. And then, trying to get around, we actually ran into Esther and Sherry outside, near Block D area. (I could see them from the distance - Like I said, one looks like the miniature version of another =P) But I felt stranger why they didn't engage. Then Sherman saw the 3 guys outside. Wow it was one hell of a stressful and strategising moment man. Lol... But anyway, due to unclear game rules, we lost. Cos they were in a group of 3, and they got to derrick first, so it was thought they can keep engaging him till he lost. And their base was actually at Sports Hall - we went there so many times! But the Sports hall was so dark. And so big!Haha... Nvm. Fun!

Lol I remember, Ken was saying the stingray bones can be eaten, and he was eating them. And I said he can go Fear Factor - then Esther said , think he sure will lose. So I said, ya, it'll be like "Here's your challenge - a sausage of worms!" Ken" "Uh..." *faints on the table* XD The first ever on Fear Factor series. Haha... See daughter learn from dad orh, also indirectly insult people now... Haha!

We went off at around 11+... Haha, all so tired. Next thursday practice Zhiwei suggested it to be outdoors - it'll be fun! Lol... we should have more outings (thinking of the next one).

Last day of SIP!

Yay! 6 months of SIP - FINALLY OVER!! Clearing leave the next 2 days. Shiok!

Will I miss anything in Motorola? Well I don't know. A few months down, maybe I'll know. But no more going to Yio Chu Kang every morning and back to Bedok every evening! Relaxation~

Got 1 more month of hols ahead. Must enjoy. Must recharge.

Looking for tuition jobs at the moment.

AG bbq this saturday 4 - 9 - and we still haven't decided WHO's gonna bring the bee hoon. But at least, me and naz going to shop for the food tomorrow. My dear vice president already flew off, when she was supposed to be in charge of planning -.-

Went Pasir Ris Park today with the guys today to blade. Or teach them how to blade.

Feet aching! But so fun. Lk caught the gist in no time - I was saying, he's got like 80% - 90% of what I have to teach. Ch did great, just needs to keep his legs together more. But LYE - Fallen King we call him. It was falling for him from the start - to the end. Lol. But he did try hard, and I'm sure he's learned quite a fair bit.

And the weather wasn't too bad today. Windy.

Lol but nothing beats yesterday. Watched Forbidden Siren - ok I suggest, if you played the game, and want to watvch the movie, I don't blame you. But if you're watching it as a horror movie, forget it. No wonder GV didn't have it showing in their cinemas.

And somehow, someone invited Nick. Like what Lk said - if you all don't like him, why invite him?! Somebody went and asked him to come join us. After the movie, I was pressing Star to return me 9.50, and Nick said at some point of time that he was going to buy something, and asked us to wait for him. But somehow we just followed whoever started walking, and went off without him. Then he called Lye, and came over, and started getting all pissed. Lol. Like wth.

There's my weekend. Next week - after Wed, I'm free! Yay! SIP is finally over. *thinks of SIP report* Aw...

busy day at the AMK NPP

My bicycles gets stolen a SECOND time.

Seems like a norm for banglas to steal newer looking bikes at MRT Stations. Even the police officer said so!

Oh well. What can I do? As it is, they tell me, the chances of revovering the bike is really low, though there IS a chance.

But heck even, 1 in 1 million is a chance.

Better than not reporting at all, which then the chance is zilch.

That aside, during the time I was there making the report, I heard

- Cheat case
- Theft case

Then there was another guy who called in to enquire about his missing bicycle case (-.-)

One guy next to me got his CAR stolen

2 Chinese guys came in to surrender, think they were illegal immigrants

One Chinese looking guy running a sort of cash company came in with loads of paper evidence to report of some guy in his company who was stealing cash bundles (I thought he would have better gone to the CPIB - Corruption Practices Investigation Bureau)

And some guy calling in to say he suspected his neighbour of stealing bicycles and would like the
police to raid his house.

What a morning.

The police force seems to be hardly able to do much about bangla theft cases.

The Irrational, the Inexplicable

Sometimes, love can be so, out of expectations. Even though you tell yourself, its not going to happen, its not what you can accept - but truth is, when it comes, nobody can stop it. That feeling that takes over is omnipotent; it defies logic, but yet you know, it is in you, and it is a feeling you want to keep in you, forever.

" And for the second time in my life / I wept, in my pillow "

True feelings, or love, can trespass all boundaries. A saying repeated a thousand times, yet, how many truly can understand its true meaning? And appreciate it for what it is worth? The society shuns and disbelieves "untraditional" ways of getting into relationships and union, such as online relationships.

But truly, who defines what is "traditional"? Who is to judge whether "untraditional" relationships are right or wrong?

"For the moment / Nothing else mattered"

When I look beyond the surface, and search within, following my feelings, I allow it to surge through me, like a wave; and I discover, in truth, boundaries have been crossed, and all stereotypes I thought I had were broken.

"I have never been as serious about this / Till I met you"

For feelings to develop into something real, there is always a need for reciprocracy. Words may sound cliche, but as long as it comes out true...

"When you were busy training and didn't seem to bother about me / I feel so alone"

Communication is always essential in a relationship. I can't feel, hear, nor see through the veil; the only way is through words. Silence can also speak; but silence can be assigned also a variety of other meanings, and reading into it may cause unecessary misunderstanding.

As it has always been in history, any new aspect or region in any field would be shunned by traditionalists as "untraditional", and "unbelievable". However, as sociologist studies would reveal, a large percentage of the population are in fact, resistant or suspicious, and not quick to embrace change and innovation.

What then matters most, is what YOU truly think; what YOU believe - for that is all that is needed for faith to succeed, or fail.

"I promise you, I'll never neglect you again / I'll never let you go again"

Realisations. Oh, I love these moments.
