Lol finally got Guild Outing today. After so long of discussion and planning.. Went to ECP. Dark was SO blur lor. We had 1 girl missing, and when we asked him, he said don't know. What the.
Lol then the girls kept to themselves lei. But now online ask them they said they were waiting for us to go talk to them. Aw.
Biking - didn't know ECP was SO big. Lk and Ch didn't last till the end, then turned around halfway, but we were faster than them in the end. Lol.

Saw guitars
Went to peninsula plaza today to check out guitars. Did alot of walking around mostly, helped lk to decide whether to buy a 70 bucks guitar with case, capo, and dunno what. Obviously very bad lol. The guy admitted, its ok for a beginner. Lol.
Ch and lkwanna learn guitar basics from me. All right. Lol.

MAGICal Hands!
Thought my L7 spoilt yesterday. Couldn't power it on. And its not due to empty batt, the buttons should at least light up. Charged it the whole night, but no.
Brought it to Century Square. Couldn't find the shop. Confirmed with mom again - she said she came 2 - 3 years ago. -.-
Went to PS instead. Waited like, 1 hour plus plus. Meanwhile the lady in the Cashier counter was facing this rather worked up customer asking where his phone was.
Then she was gone.
WHen it was my turn, it was that lady again . Lol. She took my phone, came in, and sat down at the worng counter. Said cos she's expected at too many counters at once. Haha.. She fixed it all right. She said she didn't find anything wrong, she only took out the batt and put it back in, and it could power on. Seriously.. I did that yesterday, but.. Oh well. Lol. My batt's bloated, so I got it changed. But i didn't charge it overnight.
When I was done, i told her "thanks for your magical hands!" Lol. SHe said, "oh no problem!" and smiled. Hahaha...

Danger lurks around every corner..
My mom just received this Court Summon letter for her friend, who no longer lives in Singapore. It said something like her friend was being summoned to court to stand before trial on the offence of installing a broadcast TV receiver without licenses from MDA, with an offer of composition, $51.62. Her friend now lives in Hong Kong though.
Lol the best part is, the offence date was in 2003.
HOW?! 2 years later, you're still caught. Woo!

Death Note
Mm, not bad!
Though there are some rather funny parts. As in, funny kinda funny. And funny kind of funny too.
The God of Death was so funny. Esp the part when Light said no apples for him, he was like, throwing a tantrum XD And he said in the end: Light, you are worse than a true God of Death. Total genius he was - he actually beat Ryoki at discovering that he was actually Kira. But the ending hinted of Episode 2. ha.
Plenty of nervous moments when you think Light would be tricked by Ryoki to reveal he was Kira - but always, it was a nice twist.
Nice show ;)

AG Steamboat!
Ha, it was quite fun... reached home yesterday at around 12+. Woo!
Lots to eat, chatted and laughed alot, drank some beer, everyone was high. And the ever-present danger of flying oil spurts from the grill - lol! Dunno what they gave us for the grill - butter, but not like it. Cook a while, and the butter goes brown, black. Don't put enough butter on, you get charcoal pretty fast. Not healthy either way. Lol!
Pinwen came, but didn't eat. He sat around, then went to play House of the Dead 4 at the nearby arcade. Daniel was there super early.. We were waiting for people, then waiting for bus. Lol me xi yang and chee yuan were talking D2 all the way.
Daniel said he had to go when we reached, but he sat and ate anyway - lol!
We (the guys) were all laughing at this sign. SHerb said "thats what I cal CHEAP!" Lol... Then Chee Yuan said 12 dollars an adult, then what, 5 dollars a child?
And turns out, on the other side, with was really, $5 Child. Lol!
If you don't get it, we were actually referring to them selling Adults for $12 each, and Children for $5 each.
And then somehow we started talking about tigers, circuses, and what nots. Haha... Cranky sia.
Moon just msged me this morning say she locked her blog with a password. Say to stop nonsense peopel from reading it. Lol! Cool.
Wah had AG meeting last night till quite late, 11 then reach home. So, had to blog today.
Was trying to work on Ting Ma Ma de Hua by Jay just now.. Apart from having to translate from Bass Clef to Treble, I was dropping it an octave - and, its still not easy to play. Trying to find the chords online now.. Lol saves time and trouble. But doesn't seem like anyone's gotten it out yet. =/
Lol daughter came so late yesterday... and stayed a while only. Told me she was going out with her mentee.. So Naz asked what I was going to do after they (naz and est) left? Go over? I said ya... Then daughter said you can stay here and play with yourself what! Lol!Sounds so wrong sia... Then she made those hand gestures... tsk tsk!
Hmm AG outing on thursday has been changed from Sentosa outing to Steamboat at Marina South. Going dutch, around 12 per person.

Thai Horror
Wanted to watch Miami Vice today, but when we went down to Cathay Orchard (thanks to jan for telling me where it was XD), we decided we wanted to watch Possessed instead.
Thai horror.
Yet another gender of horror, which impressed me. Not a GREAT film, but nevertheless, ok. No special effects. And they place their objects of horror at the visible part, not much of the BOO factor, but hey, it works! Their ghosty was human actor, mix in the flying effects used in Chinese kungfu films, and there you have it. Not a empty or lame storyline too.
Hmm, not bad.

Lol funny sia...
Was teaching lk guitar today under his block, then suddenly this 20+ year old svelte indian lady walks towards us and asks: "Hey you guys professional players?" Lol. Were we that good?
So anyhow, it came that she lived nearby, had a buitar at home, and wanted to learn how to play it. Asked us to contact her the next time we come down (she knows I'm teaching lk). Lol and she was clearly impressed i was teaching guitar at suc a young age. Young meh. Lol.
She gave us (me rather) her namecard, to contact her. Lk said "" You sure you wanna entertain her meh.." But what can I do? Chage spots and avoid her next time? Lol! Hiyo.

Whew. Decided to indulge in a daily morning exercise - Jogging to Bedok Stadium, then doing pull ups. Had to start, don't wanna spend 2 more months for pull ups. Dam tired. Lol.

Haha Est wanted me to help her take photo of AG yest again. Never tell me she carrying new bag >_< So went to ask her again. Heard black bag. We looked through (as in me, LiMin, ZhiWei) all the black bags, and didn't find any camera - then I looked at the most unlikely suspect - a black shayrer sling bag. Why I say unlikely? Cos my dad always carries Shayrer Black sling bags, I thought it belonged to one of the guys. And it turned out to be the correct bag. Haha!
Then Ken was collecting funds, and I didn't tell him I was holding some of the handed up funds. So when Ken asked daughter, she glared at me. XD So I said "Ya, she handed up to me already. " Then she said "Punch you arh!" Lol! So violent lor. Sherman asked me: "Your daughter ah?" Haha...
Est asked me to show her my tabbed Cupid Love. And so I did.. Then Ken said "I show you my version, simpler", and he played. Aiya not much simpler what. Est looked at me and said "Lol look at Joel's face" F5. Haha..
Leaving that time Ken was the last to come out mah. Est was in front of me. Saw that she like wanted to lock Ken in, so after I came out, i pushed the door inwards. But look back, in front of ken, there were a few other malay guys. Woops. Lol! Like father like daughter. So mean. =P Towards Ken only la. XD

Sushi!
Went for lunch with moon today at Sakae Sushi. She said no one to go lunch with and she wanna eat Amaebi sushi mah... since my lunch these days mostly is i go buy myself, might as well join her lo.
Lol she good eyesight nia... When I reached she said meet me at Checkout counter 6 the escalator - actually, either side also have escalator XD I was on the other side, she saw me.

Lol the plate moving ah not so clear. She go and put all the plastic covers on one of the moving plates.. Haha!
We ate her Amaebi, took the Scallop, had Sashimi, fish roe, octopus, curry flavor chopped salmon (really la, salmon!), toufu skin, some peking duck wrapping sushi with prawn... So full! She thought I wasn't full - She ate much lesser than me lei. Haha... Then I was saying we take one, try one, not nice, we cover and put back. She said no la, better still, we put the plate back. Then they dunno we eat what. Lol! Crap sia. And she kept scalding herself puring hot water for her green tea. Tsk tsk..
Then moon went back for work lo. I reached home around 2.35 lidat. Jan called me, said can we meet for tea? :O I was so full that time. Told her meet at 5 la. Lol. Yuan ding ji hua, dinner. Wha CAAS there the words they use ah... alot of jargon sia. Moon ask me the terms she dunno... Hoestly I haven't seem much of them before. Even Janelle (later I asked her) she also dunno. Lol... but I checked out the meaning. Good leh. I improve my Eng - Chi translation, moon says she improving her english. Lol!
Met Jan at 5. Went to eat at a vegetarian restaurant, hmm not bad. Lol we talked alot; wha so long never meet up le. Lol!
On the way to meet Jan, Est called me (one of the downsides to listening to music on phone, and using the headset to answer - I press answer le then realised I dunno who is it - but lucky I recognised from daughter's voice, lol! Unique voice mah =P), asked me for a quote about my experience in guitar. On the spot.

So I said I sms you? She said, ok, now can? I was like, ok.. Lol pressure!
Hmm finished tabbing The Myth, corrected Lemon Tree, Guan Huai Fang Shi (Cupid Love - I agree moon, thats a bad name), Can't Help Falling in Love, Somewhere Out There. Woo! Will work on Ting Ma Ma De Hua by Jay Chou next probably.

"just go"
Couldn't blog yesterday. Too late. Lol...
Esther returned me $5 yesterday for the seaweed (which only cost around $1+), and for all the sushi I bought for her. Haha... really no need but...guessed it would make her feel better, so I just took it anyway. XD Cute la she.
Daughter! Always testing my sight reading. Not so good! =P
Naz dug up an I Dream tabs which I tabbed and put in my score book long ago, asked me to play it. So I like sang ya... I knew daughter was up to something (she was sitting beside me, fiddling with her phone) - stopped halfway, I saw both est and naz giggling away - they were recording me playing and SINGING! Omg! Said my voice is horrible on recording la. Listened to it, they said no, its really fine! Ok, so I sang again... and they started giggling away. Ah! Then finally naz said Ok I leave the room, and est insisted I do the whole song so... did it la. Lol! Haiyo. So embarassing. Lol!
Finally it dawned on me yesterday. I always rememberd and had this impression that daughter lived in Sengkang. WHich was why I was very amazed that time she managed to come down for practise in half an hour. Then i compared that to her living a few storeys above Pinwen. Thats a discrepancy right there. Asked her... and OH so I was deluded all along, she lives just in Tampines. Chey!
Then went to eat at Prata. The whole place really just sells mainly Pratas, with a whole lot of funny styles. Banana, Ice Cream, what not on pratas. And for drinks, we saw Ice Milo Dinosaur, Ice Milo GODZILLA, and there was Black Spider and White Spider. Lol... And as expected, my Murtabak came after Bryan finished his Thosai(?), and went for a smoke. Naz, est, eileen and her bro was seated at the next table. Saw daughter trying to arm wrestle Eileen's bro with 2 hands some more. Lost! Lol... Haiyo... Daughter funny sia. Asked me if my Murtabak was nice. Through naz. Then she wanted to try or something. Also ask through naz. Like so shy to ask herself lidat... XD
Around 10 like that wanted to go off already. Both me and chee yuan knew we haven't paid for the food, but bryan, me and chee yuan were like daring each other to "just go". We did, and Bryan went in to check no one was coming after us. Lol we felt so bad la... But the waiter guy had a good memory, he rememberd, and came after us. Lol... Feeling bad, paid him 1 dollar extra. He say come back tomorrow, he return us. Lol nvm la... Scully go back get whacked. Lol!
We thought the girls didn't want to go off. Was reaching the food court near the outside road when daughter called. Lol at first couldn't see them... Dark mah! (she said I needed new specs. Bleh!) Then I did see a few figures runing about. Lol! I thought I left something behind or what... Oh they were just waving bye to me la. XD So blur. Think I was distracted by the "just go" incident. Hahah...
Lol got a whole new bunch of songs to tab now. Better get started!

The Liar
Dunno why some people like to lie so much. I mean, sure, everyone of us lies sometimes, some more, some less; some with ill intents, some with good will.
But this guy - he simply LIES about everything possible. To the extent that, out of a hundred things he says, you can't trust over half of them; the rest are interxied with fact and fiction. Pretty irritating for his friends.
If you can't go out with your friends, or simply don't wish to because you're tired, just SAY so.
If you can't make it or don't wish to make it for a gathering, just SAY so.
Nobody can force you if you can't or don't want to go.
But make up lies, and your friends will surely grow irritated about you. It not that we want to be mean towards you. Its a cause and effect thing.
I still remember that time he said his grandparents were sick, and he couldn't come out. At that point of time, I said, don't curse your grandparents, but he said Really la, zzz. Ok fine. Then later he said no actually, I was grounded.

Then today, he said he would call wy down as well, and said wy was on the way. Told him we were meeting at the usual place, the void deck. On the way, called him, 1st call, didn't pick up. 2nd, 3rd calls, he switched off his phone. Waited for him there, then he called.
Where are you? At Blk 85 is it? I already told you its void deck. He said, I was here at 1 - 2 but I couldn't find you guys! I already told you to meet at 2. I was here at 2+! Nobody! (see how he contradicts himself) Then why did you switch off your phone when we called you? I called you but you never picked up! (see, now he's avoiding the question) You said what? You called me? You dare say you called me? (he didn't) Uh yesterday I call you you also never pick up what! (wtf is he talking about now?)
I just slammed the phone shut.
Then, I messaged wy. Did he message you to tell you of today's gathering? Yes I heard something about it but he didn't tell me where, when, what place. (and he said wy was ALREADY on the way)
I really don't know what kind of NONSENSE this is.
On a lighter side, was chatting with moon this morning. Were just laming as usual, discussing about her $100 and a bear thing (lol), then she said she'd go cook her lunch. Instant noodles. Not gone for 5 mins, she came back, ask me how? Got insect in her noodles! Lol... we started speculating how it got in there, she was saying maybe it GREW in the noodle (yergh), and I thought maybe the factory accidentally sealed an insect inside. Lk (when later I discussed with him) thought maybe while she was gone for 5 mins, the insect dropped in. Anyhow, she threw the noodles away, and regretted throwing food away. Lol.
