2nd last day of school~

Yay! After tomorrow, jiu free le! =DD

Keke today law presentation. Every group had a unique way to present! Got skit, got gameshow, got video. Bu kui shi CMM students! =P

Ah~ Been a long time since I wear until so formal le. Even wearing it walking around I also suddenly feel so important. Bleh =P

e's story gets to continue. Yes, even on the last week of school.

We planned to, for our last news report story, to do on Structures and Sculptures in TP, and I already filmed and digitised half the footage, typed the whole script out nicely, but only that because we couldn't get any interviews with the authorities. But Mrs Raimi did say before, so long you script it in, you can absolve yourself from blame. Which I did.

Yesterday. Valentine's Day. Evening, I was with my baby darling~ And she sudenly called. I was like, wth? Then she messaged, and said she's changing our story to some Chinese culture thing.

First off, its due at 5pm. She messaged me, at 6.

Then today, she still pushed for her that story to be used. So I asked her, whats the progress on our original story? Because, since yesterday, she was supposed to get down to finishing up the story... she said, 50%. Thats like, where I left off. SO technically, she spent the whole of the day doing her "new story". Which I told her, I'm not comfotable with it (in her style)! Because though she's putting both our names down, I can't contribute much to it! I've already got my plans down for today.

Then she said, I could think of what changes could be made to the script... Which I told her right there. Wasn't much, but I made her 4 pages, (looks like 5 mins), footage lacking
(to explain this point: Her story was on more and more foreigners these day picking up Chinese. Which in itself can be an interesting news article, but might not work as a news report - because in terms of visuals to show, nothing interesting, nothing substantial can be shown)
script into what looks like could work, for a 3 mins news report.

And so she went ahead, with her "amazing confidence".

In the end?

Today 5pm, the absolute dateline, she called to say that what she has now can only fill 1 minute 10 seconds or so. but at least looks like a news report. And, she's likely to be late, because at 5pm, she's still at home.

Submitted in the end, but I'm pretty sure this'd be a flop.

Why couldn't she have stuck with our original story in the first place?!

I was telling her, we should at least finish up our original story, so at least we have a backup. Because we were REALLY short of time. But she wouldn't listen.

Even from third party point of view, Owen also said what I was thinking - interviews? Its ok, doesn't really mtter already, time is the constraint. Plus, I've already scripted to explain the absence of the interviews. At least that package WORKS, and is 3 mins, I'm sure.

At the last assignment, at the last minute, and she has to play jokes like that. Its not like we haven't done news reports before, its always 1 - 2 hours for filming, 1 hour digitising, 1 hour editing, even at my pace.

We were still discussing at 2pm today.

Which only gives her 2 1/2 hours to get her new story up. Which still wasn't really concrete at that point of time.

Taking such a gamble at the last assignment, last minute. WHY?!

Sigh.

8:43 PM
